History

The Minneapolis Commodore Chorus chartered with the Society for the Preservation and Encouragement of Barbershop Quartet Singing in America (S.P.E.B.S.Q.S.A.) in 1944 and continues that association with the current Barbershop Harmony Society. Our BHS District is Land O' Lakes.

  • FIFTEEN TIME...Land O' Lakes District Champions
  • FIVE TIME International Competition Medalists

A big, full quality sound combined with colorful costumes and entertaining stage play make any Commodore production a truly memorable experience.

Singing a cappella harmony in 4-part barbershop style is our hobby and we really enjoy doing it. We're always looking for men who love to sing. We invite you to join us at a rehearsal to see what it's all about.
